Livestreaming is in beta.

It is switched on per account. Write to us or ask on Discord and we enable it for you. Watching a stream needs nothing at all: every stream has a public page that works in any browser.

Studio

Everything on one screen.

Pick the board, add your phone's camera and microphone, or pull in cameras and mics from your other signed-in devices. OBS, a GoPro or any app that streams RTMP can join as a camera too.

A screen board lets you stream without a physical board at all.

Scenes

Designed on a canvas, not in a menu.

Three starter scenes cover the usual cases: Main, Analysis and Camera Focus. For your own look, open the scene designer in WhitePawn Web and lay out board, cameras, move list, player cards, eval bar, countdown, scoreboard, images and text however you like.

Thirteen component types, one drag-and-drop canvas.

Eval bar and music

The audience always knows who is better.

A live evaluation bar, powered by Stockfish in the cloud, keeps viewers oriented even when the position is quiet. Thirty royalty-free tracks in three playlists fill the pauses between games.

Connected DGT clocks put both times on the stream.

Outputs

Your own watch page. Twitch and YouTube too.

Every stream gets a public page on web.whitepawn.app that works in any browser, no app needed, with live chat. Viewers in the WhitePawn app find it under Live now.

Restream to Twitch with one login, or to YouTube with your stream key, in landscape and in portrait.

Renderer

Rendered where you want it.

The video is composed by a renderer. Use the cloud renderer, two hours a month are included, or run the desktop renderer on your own Mac with Apple silicon or on a Windows PC. Both are downloaded from the studio in WhitePawn Web.

Afterwards

Every session is kept.

Streams are recorded and can be replayed afterwards. Games played on air land in a Livestreams collection, ready for analysis, and viewers can replay them too.

An AI commentator that talks about the game in English or German is in beta for selected accounts.
