1. The service
WhitePawn is a chess companion operated by Khadim Fall (see the legal notice). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of digital consent in your country, you need a parent's or guardian's permission.
- Keep your sign-in details secret. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- Give accurate information and keep your email address current.
3. Your content
Your games, puzzles, posts and messages stay yours. You give us a licence to store, process and display that content only as needed to run the service, including showing it to the people you share it with or to the public when you publish it. You are responsible for having the rights to what you upload.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- harass, threaten or impersonate others, or post unlawful, hateful or sexually explicit content;
- send spam, or use automation to message or invite people in bulk;
- cheat in rated or competitive play hosted by third parties, or break the rules of a connected platform;
- probe, overload or disrupt the service, or access data that is not yours;
- resell or redistribute the service without permission.
We may remove content and suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
5. AI assistant connections
- Connecting an AI assistant is optional. You choose which permissions it receives and can revoke them at any time in Settings under "AI coworkers".
- The assistant acts on your behalf. Anything it drafts that reaches other people, publishes content or deletes data needs your approval inside WhitePawn, and is attributed to you once approved.
- Text written by an AI assistant can be wrong. Review it before you approve it. You are responsible for content published from your account.
- The assistant itself is provided by a third party under its own terms. We are not responsible for its answers or availability.
6. Connected services
Lichess, Chess.com, Twitch, YouTube, sign-in providers and app stores are separate services with their own terms. You must follow them when you link those accounts.
7. Paid plans
Some features need a paid plan. Prices, billing periods and renewal terms are shown before you buy. Purchases made in an app store are billed, renewed, cancelled and refunded under that store's rules. Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep WhitePawn available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Features may change or be withdrawn. Engine evaluations and statistics are provided for training and entertainment and may contain errors.
9. Liability
We are liable without limit for intent and gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of an essential contractual duty, limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this kind of contract. Liability under mandatory product liability law is unaffected.
10. Ending the agreement
You may stop using WhitePawn and ask us to delete your account at any time by writing to info@khadimfall.com. We may end the agreement with reasonable notice, or immediately after a serious breach of these terms.
11. Governing law
German law applies. If you are a consumer, the mandatory protections of the country where you live still apply to you.
